    The Primero project began in 2013 as the result of many years of inter-agency collaboration. Our goal is to bring more coherent, cost-effective, and user-friendly information management tools to the Social Welfare, Child Protection and Gender Based Violence sectors.

     

    Primero v2 is now being used at scale. This entirely redesigned version of Primero is a progressive web app that leverages a new tech stack and builds on the experiences of thousands of users in +40 countries.     Primero is envisioned as a digital public good, and has been developed according to the Principles for Digital Development. Primero is made available on GitHub under the GNU Affero GPL 3 license.     Case Management

    Primero provides intuitive digital forms and clear workflows to assist with documenting case management processes, from identification and registration, to assessment, case planning, referrals and transfers, and case closure. With strong supervision features including email notifications for certain processes, Primero is a complete digital case management solution.

     

    New! Progressive Web Application

    Primero v2 is a progressive web application (PWA) that works online and offline with a full set of case management features. For case workers and service providers on the move and in low internet connectivity areas, this is game changer. Primero v2 responds to the size of the screen, so it can be used on any type of device - computer, tablet or phone - via the web browser.

    Incident Monitoring

    Primero allows users to document events and violations in order to provide programmes with timely information on risk factors and violation patterns. Individual survivors of violence can then be linked to the services they need, and prevention measures can be implemented to mitigate future risks. Powerful reporting and analysis tools ensure that data is actionable.

     

    Family Tracing and Reunification

    Primero uses sophisticated matching technology to pair tracing requests made by caregivers with records of children registered as separated or unaccompanied. Matching criteria can be configured to meet the needs of the context. These features are backstopped by a complete case management module to ensure that children receive appropriate care.

     

    New! Self Service Configuration

    Primero v2 can be easily configured and localized without the support of technology company. Teams can select a template from a library and then work to contextualize the forms, lookups, languages, logos and locations through a user-friendly interface.
