“Children in a Digital World”
For the past several years, UNICEF Kenya has been working in partnership with Lutheran World Federation (LWF) and UNHCR to improve service delivery for vulnerable children through the use of technology. In such large and complex operations, keeping track of individual children and documenting interventions which aim to address their vulnerabilities is a huge and daunting task.
LWF is now using the Child Protection Information Management System (CPIMS+/Primero) to capture and manage cases of children at risk in Kakuma Refugee Camp and Kalobeyei Settlement.
The video below builds on the UNICEF's latest State of the World’s Children flagship report, “Children in a Digital World”.
Congratulations to the team for the great work done, and for the dedication you have shown in always seeking better ways to protect children from violence, exploitation and abuse.
